Our work

ICCI programs are dual in nature: science-policy efforts lending increased urgency to global climate negotiations and plans aimed at CO2 and other greenhouse gases, by communicating the unexpected rapidity and global implications of cryosphere warming; and at the same time, a number of practical development and assistance projects targeting the unique climate dynamics at work in the cryosphere, by addressing sources of black carbon and methane especially that also harm human health.  Click below to learn more about current efforts and plans.
