COP28 Cryosphere Pavilion: Schedule Updates from Dec. 1 – Dec. 12, 2023

Dear Cryosphere Capsule readers-

For the next two weeks, our team will be at COP28 in Dubai helping organize the Cryosphere Pavilion with livestreamed events each day summarizing the latest cryosphere science. We will share daily updates on this mailing list with a schedule of side events that can also be watched live on our YouTube page. We look forward to seeing many of you on the ground during the negotiations over the next two weeks! This year, the Cryosphere Pavilion is split between two locations: a main exhibit area with scientific displays, and a quieter side event room / office space. We will have a team of Early Career Scientists at the Cryosphere Pavilion Exhibit Space in Thematic Arena 4 (TA4-220, upstairs across from main TA4 or Nature Building entrance) as well as in our Side Event Room on the second floor of Building 71 (upstairs from Chile and Bhutan Pavilions). We all stand ready to help if you have any questions; and of course our staff members will be spread out across the venue, often headquartered at the Pavilion when not otherwise engaged. See many of you soon!
