Focus Days Schedule for the COP7 Cryosphere Pavilion

Dear Cryosphere Capsule readers:

We are happy to share the Focus Days schedule for the COP27 Cryosphere Pavilion! Each day will include up to seven side events, focused on the latest cryosphere science; the implications of these findings for climate urgency and ambition; and looking also at model low emissions pathways and solutions. All side events will also be livestreamed and recorded for later viewing.

The preliminary Focus Days schedule:

Sunday, November 6: High Level/State of Cryosphere
Mon 7: High Level/Ice Sheets and SLR I
Tues 8: HKH/Mountain Glaciers and Snow I
Wed 9: HKH/Mountain Glaciers and Snow II
Thurs 10: Polar Oceans
Fri 11: Permafrost
Sat 12: Solutions I
(Sunday, November 13: COP27 venue closed)

Monday, November 14: Sea Ice
Tues 15: Ice Sheets and SLR II
Wed 16: Cross-cutting/State of Cryosphere
Thurs 17: Mountain Glaciers and Snow III/African and tropical glaciers
Fri 18: Solutions II
